Hi! Welcome to my little part of the web!

My name is Erin and I'm a photographer located in the San Tan Valley/Queen Creek area. My photography journey started about 9 years ago when I took a beginner photography class in college. I purchased a FILM Canon Rebel and loved it! The class was so much fun, and I loved developing film in the darkroom on campus. After I graduated though, I didn't use my camera as much as I should have. It was film, and not as easy to use as my new digital point and shoot.

 I lusted after the new digital Canon's for years. I always wanted to keep up on my photography, but never had the funds to do so. After my daughter was born, I really REALLY wanted to buy one and learn photography. I wanted to make sure I could capture each stage of her life, and I wanted to do it well.

About a month before her first birthday, I did it. I bought my first DSLR, a Canon Rebel Xsi.

And the rest is history, I quickly caught the photography bug and did everything I could to learn. I looked up tutorials on anything and everything and I eventually found the site clickinmoms.com. This site has taught me so much! I am still an active member on that forum and will be forever more.

 It's been five years since I first bought that DSLR. I've upgraded my camera twice since then, and now am the owner of a shiny new Canon 6D! I also have three lenses in my camera bag as well that are dear to my heart. An 85mm 1.8, Tamron 28-75 2.8, and a 50mm 1.4.

I've taken full participation workshops on composition, shooting, lighting and post processing, as well as numerous mini-workshops to keep me learning and keep me inspired.

I LOVE photography, I LOVE learning.

It's a perfect fit for me as there is always something new to learn, always a way to push you to get better.
